Emily Rapp is a partner at McSwain Rapp Law, LLC, where she represents clients in Kane, DuPage, Will, and Kendall counties, as well as in appellate matters. Her practice includes a strong focus on family law, and she is widely recognized for her leadership within the legal community. Over the course of her career, Emily has held several respected bar association roles. She is a past President of the Kane County Bar Association, a past Chair of the Family Law Section of the DuPage County Bar Association, a past Chair of the Solo, Small Firm and Technology Committee for the Kane County Bar Association, and a past member of the Family Law Committee of the Illinois State Bar Association. She has also spoken at seminars hosted by the Illinois State Bar Association, the DuPage County Bar Association, and the Kane County Bar Association on family law issues. In addition, Emily has contributed to legal education through her writing, including authoring a chapter on the Parentage Act for Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education. Emily’s work has earned recognition from her peers throughout her career. Since 2022, she has been named a Super Lawyer. In 2016, she was also selected as an Emerging Lawyer by Leading Lawyers, an honor given to attorneys identified by their peers as being among the top lawyers age 40 or younger.
