Erin R Clegg

Erin R. Clegg joined McCathern in 2017 as part of the Family Law division and offices at the firm's Frisco, Texas office. Erin has extensive litigation experience in family law from working on cases involving divorce, custody, child support, modifications, enforcements, domestic violence, and cases involving Child Protective Services. She also has experience as a mediator for family law cases, helping parties reach creative and unique results that might not otherwise be available through the Court system. Erin is a member of various organizations, including the Texas Young Lawyers Association (serving on the Board of Directors as a Director of District 11), the Denton County Bar Association (serving as the President-elect for the Family Law section), the Texas Family Law Foundation (Bill Review Committee and Lifetime Member), the State Bar College, the Denton County Young Lawyers Association, and the Kappa Kappa Gamma Alumnae Association. Erin earned her law degree along with a Masters of Public Administration from St. Mary’s University in 2013. While in law school, she was the recipient of the Civil Clinic Pro Bono award. She was also a member of Pi Alpha Alpha, the global honor society for public affairs and administration. In 2009, Erin graduated cum laude from the University of North Texas where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Criminal Justice. During her time at UNT, she was a member of Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity, the UNT Mediation Team, as well as Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority.
