Richard Edwin Masson

Richard E. Masson focuses his practice in the areas of Estate Planning, Family Law and Probate. Mr. Masson’s specialized knowledge and expertise in family law, estate planning and tax provides an edge for his clients in that he is uniquely able to attack an issue from all angles which creates better opportunities and advantages for those he represents. Moreover, and more importantly, Mr. Masson understands the emotional and complex nature of his clients needs and goals in order to ensure them the best result possible. Mr. Masson has been duly recognized for his outstanding work and numerous accomplishments as a family law attorney and was named one of Southern California’s “Super Lawyers” in 2005. In addition, Mr. Masson holds his LL.M. in Taxation and is an expert in tax planning, disputes and other tax related matters, including estate planning. Consequently, a substantial portion of Mr. Masson’s practice centers on advising clients on tax issues as well as advising them on their estate planning matters. Whether a client needs a simple Will, Trust or other estate planning instrument prepared, or needs a legal opinion on a complicated tax issue, Mr. Masson is fully qualified to handle all types of matters and issues. Mr. Masson graduated from the University of Utah, S.J. Quinney College of Law in 1998 with his Juris Doctorate. In 2005 he received his LL.M. in Taxation from Chapman University School of Law.
