Damon L. Ellis is a co-founding partner of Mani Ellis & Layne, PLLC, with over two decades of dedicated personal injury litigation experience. Operating from the firm’s offices in Charleston, West Virginia, and Columbus, Ohio, Damon pioneered the firm’s expansion across state lines, becoming the first partner licensed to practice in both states. He has built a reputation as an aggressive, methodical, and strategic trial lawyer who successfully stands up to powerful insurance carriers and large corporations. Damon’s practice focuses on high-stakes, complex personal injury claims. He regularly represents individuals and families in cases involving wrongful death, commercial truck wrecks, severe car accidents, medical malpractice, nursing home abuse, and product liability from defective machinery or industrial equipment. Damon earned his Juris Doctor from Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio, before co-founding the firm in 2004 alongside attorney Jonathan Mani.
