As Counsel for his Defendants, he has successfully defended against a variety of cases seeking possession of property or monetary damages, including defending against multi-million dollar suits. Matt’s areas of focus include breach of an understanding between parties — including real estate disputes and landlord-tenant matters. He also handles business and contract litigation, commercial debt collection, business and real estate investment advising, entertainment law, and he is one of only a handful of property conservatorship attorneys in Western Pennsylvania. Matt is also a seasoned arbitrator for the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas, as well as a trained and certified court mediator. Additionally, as a property conservatorship attorney, he has worked on cases, for both prospective conservators and defending homeowners, that have helped shape the future of the law throughout the Commonwealth. Matt is a Graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. While completing his JD, he was a Co-Executive Editor and Research Editor of the Journal of Technology Law and Policy, a Founder of the Young Professionals in Energy – Pitt Chapter, and a member of the Phi Alpha Delta International Law Fraternity.
