About
With close to 30 years in personal injury litigation, I am deeply committed to assisting individuals who have been harmed due to negligence or misconduct. I am proud to be one of only five attorneys in Colorado who hold Board Certification in Civil Trial Law through the National Board of Trial Advocacy, a distinction I earned in 2013. This certification acknowledges my courtroom experience, knowledge of trial law, and dedication to ethical practices. My practice is exclusively focused on representing those who have sustained serious injuries. I handle cases involving: • Automobile, semi-truck, and motorcycle accidents • Nursing home negligence and elder abuse • Insurance bad faith • Premises liability and dangerous property conditions Throughout my career, I have worked on complex cases involving traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, paralysis, amputations, orthopedic trauma, and severe psychological injuries. I have successfully secured significant compensation for clients, guiding them through some of the most difficult periods in their lives. I grew up on a cattle ranch near Manassa, Colorado, located in the San Luis Valley. After completing my undergraduate degree at Adams State College in 1994, I worked full-time, including as an over-the-road semi-truck driver, to support myself through law school. I graduated with honors from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 1997, where I had the opportunity to clerk for the Honorable Donald Endacott in Lincoln. Over the course of my career, I have taken more than 70 cases to jury verdict. This extensive trial experience has been both rare and invaluable to my practice. I am grateful to be recognized by my peers and national organizations for my work, integrity, and results, and I remain committed to pursuing justice for my clients.
