Neil T Magner

Attorney Neil T. Magner is a Partner at Magner & Hueneke, LLP, concentrating his practice exclusively on family law throughout southeastern Wisconsin. He represents clients in Circuit Courts in Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine, Kenosha, Ozaukee, Walworth, and Washington Counties, handling both contested litigation and negotiated resolutions. Attorney Magner focuses on divorce and legal separation, child custody and placement, child support, post-judgment modifications, paternity, and equitable property division. He regularly handles complex divorce cases involving significant assets, including closely held businesses, professional practices, executive compensation, retirement accounts, real estate, and valuation disputes. As a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA), he brings advanced financial analysis to divorce matters, helping clients understand tax consequences, cash flow, and long-term financial outcomes. Attorney Magner also holds a Certificate in Family Mediation from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, allowing him to pursue efficient, resolution-focused outcomes when appropriate while remaining a strong advocate in court. He earned his Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse, and has been recognized for excellence in Advanced Legal Research in Wisconsin law by the Center for Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction. Attorney Magner is admitted to practice in Wisconsin and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, and is a member of the Milwaukee Bar Association, including its Family Law Section and Society of Family Lawyers.
