Leela Madan

Leela Madan’s practice includes domestic and international patent and trademark selection, registration, acquisition, enforcement, transfer, licensing, policing, and defense. Ms. Madan is experienced in US trademark administrative practices, including Opposition and Cancellation proceedings, before the U.S. Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB). Ms. Madan is also a licensed Patent Attorney with extensive experience in patent prosecution in the areas of chemistry and various types of engineering and other technologies. With almost five years of progressive experience, she has experience in the upstream oil and gas industry, including drilling muds and downhole tools, as well as experience in other technologies, including media, entertainment, and consumer goods. Prior to starting her own practice, Ms. Madan worked for Osha Liang, LLP as a patent attorney for almost four years, and KLF, as the lead intellectual property attorney for a year and a half. Ms. Madan left to start her own practice, so that she can help individuals and small businesses develop, acquire, and protect their intellectual property interests.
