Dusty Gross-Goeden

Dusty E. Gross is an attorney at MacGillis Law Group, LLC, focusing on labor and employment law for police officers, firefighters, and other public safety professionals across Wisconsin. She is known for her practical legal guidance, attention to detail, and strong advocacy on behalf of clients facing workplace and disciplinary issues. Dusty is dedicated to protecting the rights of public safety employees through informed, strategic representation. She works closely with clients to develop solutions that meet their goals and ensure they feel supported throughout the legal process. Before joining MacGillis Law Group, Dusty gained valuable experience as a law clerk for a national manufacturer and a Wisconsin firm specializing in employment law. She also interned with the Medical College of Wisconsin’s Risk Management Department, the Wisconsin Court of Appeals, and the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Her dedication to community service earned her induction into the Pro Bono Honors Society for completing over 100 volunteer hours. Dusty earned her Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School, where she served as Managing Editor of the Marquette Benefits and Social Welfare Law Review, President of the Health Law Society, and 2L Representative for First Generation Professionals. She received the Middleman, Thomas More, and Shirley Abrahamson Scholarships. Before law school, Dusty worked as a paralegal, gaining hands-on experience in civil practice. She holds an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies from Fox Valley Technical College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh, both with honors. Active in the Milwaukee legal community, Dusty volunteers with the Marquette Volunteer Legal Clinic and Big Brothers Big Sisters Mentor 2.0 and is a member of the Association for Women Lawyers. A lifelong Wisconsin resident, she is dedicated to serving her community with integrity, compassion, and professionalism.
