Christopher MacGillis

Christopher J. MacGillis is a founder and partner at MacGillis Law Group, LLC, where he focuses his practice on personal injury law and representation of first responders, including police officers, firefighters, and labor unions across Wisconsin. He has successfully represented clients in both state and federal courts, earning a reputation for his persistence, preparation, and results-driven advocacy. Chris earned his law degree, cum laude, from Marquette University Law School, and his B.A. in Economics from Lawrence University, where he was a captain of the men’s basketball team and an all-academic and all-conference honoree. He was recently inducted into the Pius XI High School Athletic Hall of Fame. Throughout his career, Chris has handled cases involving grievances, arbitrations, disciplinary actions, terminations, collective bargaining, officer-involved shootings, duty disability claims, and vehicle accidents involving law enforcement and fire personnel. He has also obtained significant recoveries for injured clients in personal injury cases throughout Wisconsin. Clients and union leaders consistently praise Chris for his dedication and integrity. A lifelong Wisconsin resident, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife, Ann, and their three children, Grace, Josephine, and Owen.
