Zachary Olah

I am a criminal defense attorney in Columbus, Ohio. I am deeply committed to helping people through challenging times. When clients face potentially life-altering criminal charges, I understand the obstacles they encounter. While I can’t always remove those obstacles, I am here to guide them through difficult situations. I grew up in Reynoldsburg, Ohio, and my journey into law began after a school trip to the State House, where I witnessed debates about laws impacting people’s lives. After college, I attended Capital University Law School, where I clerked with the county prosecutor’s office. Following law school, I began practicing criminal defense law and spent 17 years with the Franklin County Public Defenders Office. During that time, I worked alongside incredible attorneys and staff who inspired me every day. “There is no political agenda in defense work. In my work, I connect with people from all walks of life and approach problems from various perspectives. This often leads to alternative and more favorable outcomes. Whether advocating for a client in a motion hearing, a trial, or navigating the plea negotiation process, I strive to provide passionate and detail-oriented representation to achieve the best possible results. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our two teenage children, who are active in sports and music. A fan of both, I also enjoy watching baseball and football and perform as a singer in a local band.
