About

Mr. Long, a lifelong resident of the Philadelphia area, specializes in fighting for his clients' rights. Mr. Long graduated with honors from Rutgers School of Law in Camden, where he served as an editor on the Rutgers Journal of Law and Urban Policy. At graduation, Mr. Long was honored with the Richard Barber Memorial Award in recognition for his pursuit of justice through public service. During law school, Mr. Long gained invaluable experience while serving as the law clerk for the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey. Following graduation, Mr. Long was appointed as an Assistant District Attorney in Philadelphia. As an appellate and post-conviction prosecutor, he successfully litigated hundreds of cases, some of which changed the away that drug offenses were prosecuted in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. During his tenure as a prosecutor, Mr. Long gained extensive knowledge and experience in all aspects of a criminal trial, including pre- and post-trial matters, appellate procedure, and the Post-Conviction Relief Act (“P.C.R.A.”). This substantial experience has not only produced exceptional results for his clients in private practice, but has made Mr. Long a valuable resource for his colleagues in the Philadelphia criminal defense bar.
