About

I am a maritime and civil litigation attorney dedicated to representing those injured at sea and harmed by offshore negligence. I was honored to be appointed by a federal judge to the Executive Committee overseeing the litigation arising from the 2021 SEACOR POWER tragedy, one of the most significant recent maritime disasters. Earlier in my career, I also played a pivotal role in helping secure millions of dollars for clients impacted by the BP oil spill and other catastrophic maritime events. These experiences reflect my commitment to guiding individuals and families through complex, high-stakes cases with both skill and compassion. My work has been consistently recognized by peers in the legal community. Since 2022, I have been selected as a Super Lawyer, and in 2024, I was named to Best Lawyers both prestigious, peer-nominated honors that highlight dedication and advocacy in the profession. My foundation in maritime law began at Tulane University, where I served as Senior Managing Editor of the Tulane Maritime Law Journal and received the school’s highest awards for excellence in admiralty law. Today, I remain committed not only to practicing maritime law but also to shaping it. I have authored amicus curiae (“friend of the court”) briefs before the Louisiana Supreme Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, helping courts resolve critical issues that affect the future of maritime litigation. I believe the best representation comes from mastering the law’s complexities and translating them into clear, actionable guidance for my clients. My goal is to empower those I represent by ensuring they understand the process and feel confident in pursuing justice.
