Paul Connery

Paul Connery, a Partner at Levin & Perconti, is a dedicated trial attorney who fights for justice on behalf of injured individuals and their families. A graduate of Loyola University Chicago School of Law (J.D., 2013) and the University of Illinois Urbana–Champaign (B.A., 2010), Paul brings a sharp legal mind and a deep commitment to advocacy. He began his legal career at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, first as a 7-11 Law Clerk in the Traffic and Felony Trial Divisions, where he litigated over 100 motions and bench trials. After law school, he became an Assistant State’s Attorney in the Appeals Division, authoring more than 25 appellate briefs and arguing cases before the Illinois Appellate Court. Paul then served in the Narcotics Prosecutions Bureau, where he helped launch the Chicago Prostitution and Trafficking Intervention Court and later managed a felony narcotics courtroom. His last role there was in the Special Prosecutions Division. Paul transitioned to civil litigation at a defense firm handling toxic tort and product liability cases before joining Levin & Perconti to represent plaintiffs. His notable results include: $2 Million for a hospital pressure ulcer $750,000 for a nursing home pressure ulcer $700,000 for a nursing home fall causing intracranial bleeding $500,000 for injuries from a slip on black ice Multiple six-figure settlements for negligence in nursing care Outside the courtroom, Paul is a board member at Life Span, an organization supporting survivors of domestic and sexual abuse, and was named a 2025 Leading Lawyers: Emerging Lawyer. A Downers Grove native, he lives in the Chicago suburbs with his wife and two children.
