Leona Krasner

My Journey in Law and Education I am a Brooklyn native who studied Politics and Psychology at the College of Arts and Sciences at New York University, where I graduated cum laude. I then earned my Juris Doctorate at Washington Lee University School of Law, followed by a Master’s of Business Administration from the Stern School of Business at New York University. My Legal Career I have focused my legal career on litigation. I served as an Assistant Attorney General of New York, representing the state and its employees, including those from the New York State Department of Corrections and New York State Park Police. After that, I worked as a Litigation Consultant for several international law firms, contributing to pre-trial teams to prepare complex cases in international finance, securities regulation, antitrust, and regulatory matters for trial or settlement. Launching My Family Law Firm I decided to launch my own family law firm to work one-on-one with clients and make a real difference in their lives. I believe that nothing is more important than family. Being able to prepare prenuptial agreements, handle divorces, assist with child-related matters such as custody, visitation, child support, and paternity, and litigate or settle restraining order matters truly fulfills me each day. Professional Associations I am also Chair of Communications for the Women In Law Section of the New York State Bar Association. Additionally, I serve on the Executive Committee of the Young Lawyer’s Section of the New York State Bar Association and am a member of the Events Committee of the New York Women’s Bar Association. I am also a member of both the New York City Bar Association and the New Jersey State Bar Association. Personal Interests When I'm not practicing law or mentoring my amazing team, I enjoy tutoring students through my tutoring company, Krasner Review, LLC.
