Christopher Steffens

Chris W. Steffens was born in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. He grew up on a ranch just outside Belle Plaine, Kansas. Chris graduated from The University of Kansas where he earned two Bachelors degrees in History and Economics. Upon graduating from the University of Kansas, Chris attended Washburn University School of Law, where he earned his J.D. in May 2005. Since becoming an attorney, he has practiced in criminal law, bankruptcy, business law and family law. Chris W. Steffens focuses exclusively on bankruptcy. He is a member of the Topeka Area Bankruptcy Council, Topeka Bar Association and Douglas County Bar Association. Outside of practicing law, Chris spends most of his time with his family. He is a skilled mechanic and gear head and enjoys working on cars, as well as playing guitar and photography.
