Jennifer R. Egelston

I practice “Family Law for All,” assisting clients with issues such as divorce, child custody, child support, DCS matters, juvenile court cases, adoptions, name changes, criminal expungements, and orders of protection. I also work on family planning documents, including donor contracts, wills, powers of attorney, and advanced healthcare directives. My background in horse training and barn management allows me to help horse enthusiasts navigate legal matters related to equine sales, contracts, non-profits, businesses, and liability concerns. As a Rule 31 listed family law mediator, I bring special training in domestic violence to my mediation work. I dedicate time to pro bono efforts within the LGBTQIA+ and military veteran communities, believing strongly in giving back. In 2022, I was honored to be named Pro Bono Attorney of the Year by Legal Aid of East Tennessee. My goal is to provide access to quality, affordable legal advice and representation: wills, divorces, adoptions, name changes, expungements – you name it.
