About

I received my B.A. in History from Salisbury University in 2013, where I also served as an Americorps member. In 2016, I earned my J.D. from the University of Maryland, Baltimore Francis King Carey School of Law, graduating cum laude. During my time in law school, I was a member of the National Trial Team and served as an editor for the Journal of Business and Technology Law. After completing law school, I undertook a postdoctoral fellowship with the University of Maryland Center for Health and Homeland Security. I also had the privilege of serving as an appellate law clerk to the Honorable Melanie M. Shaw Geter of the Appellate Court of Maryland, where I conducted legal research and drafted appellate opinions. Before joining the firm, I practiced at several respected law firms in Maryland and D.C., handling a wide range of civil litigation matters. These included insurance defense and coverage, commercial litigation, employment law, and trusts & estates litigation. In these roles, I also provided legal counsel to companies across various industries on matters of corporate law and regulatory compliance. I now focus my practice on personal injury, handling claims related to automobile accidents, trucking accidents, nursing home negligence and abuse, trip and fall injuries, pharmacy errors and misfills, and medical malpractice. I am admitted to the Bars of the State of Maryland and the District of Columbia, and I am also admitted to practice in the federal courts. In my spare time, I serve on the board of directors for There Goes My Hero, a Maryland-based non-profit with a mission "to save lives, provide hope, and help those impacted by blood cancer." Outside of the courtroom, I am an avid hiker and wilderness backpacker, having hiked extensively on the Pacific Crest Trail and Appalachian Trail.
