Stephen Neyman

I was born in Boston, Massachusetts. I went to high school in Andover and later attended Lehigh University, where I earned a degree in Government. After completing my undergraduate studies, I moved to San Francisco to attend Golden Gate University School of Law. After graduating from law school, I began my legal career at the Law Offices of Wilhelm, Thompson, Wentholt and Gibbs. There, I worked as part of a criminal defense team handling misdemeanor and felony cases throughout the state. While working for that firm I became passionate about criminal law. Craving trial experience, a year later, I accepted a position as a Deputy District Attorney at the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office. I was assigned to units in Compton, South Gate, Norwalk and Huntington Park. During my time there, I prosecuted numerous matters, including cases involving drug offenses, sex crimes, and murders. I also focused on street gang prosecutions as part of my responsibilities. In 1989, I returned to Boston to establish my own practice. Since then, I have remained self-employed, dedicating my career to criminal defense. Over the years, I have built a reputation for being a seasoned attorney, regularly appearing in courts across Massachusetts. I have tried in excess of 400 jury trials throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and Federal Courts throughout the country. I take great pride in the results I get for my clients. I am also very proud of my nomination to Super Lawyers since 2013, a 10 Avvo rating and a 10.0 Justia rating. I provide all of my clients with my cell phone number making myself available nearly 24 hours per day. After nearly 39 years in this business I can stay honestly say that I truly love going to work everyday.
