Patricia Anne Savage

Patricia A. Savage graduated from U.C. Berkeley's Rhetoric program with Honors in 1999. After attending Berkeley, Ms. Savage attended Santa Clara University School of Law where she was awarded Best Oral Advocate during her first year, served as Secretary of Santa Clara's Environmental Law Society, was a Member of the Governing Board of the National Association of Environmental Law Societies, and was a selected participant in the International Environmental Moot Court Competition, Fla. (2001). Ms. Savage represents employers and businesses in the areas of employment and class action law with a focus on wage and hour issues, including active litigation in: Misclassification, Overtime, Meal and Rest Period Violations, Business Expense Reimbursement, Computer Professional Exemptions, and On-Call time. Ms. Savage's litigation experience also includes individual allegations re: National Origin Discrimination, Age Discrimination, Race Discrimination, Disability Discrimination, Sexual Harassment, Wrongful Termination, Retaliation, violations of the California Family Rights Act, hearings before the Employment Development Department, Experience with filing with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Fair Employment and Housing Act, and the Private Attorneys' General Act. Ms. Savage also speaks at various engagements related to sexual harassment, wage and hour law and representative actions. Ms. Savage teaches Negotiation to MBA students at CSU and several classes for Chico's local law school, Cal Northern, including Remedies, Civil Procedure and Alternative Dispute Resolution. Ms. Savage offers her services as a mediator and arbitrator in the North State with ADR, North. Inc.
