About
My name is Michael S. Nakh, an attorney who is dedicated to fighting for injury victims and helping individuals and families protect their legacies through estate planning. I passed both the California Bar Examination and First Year Law Student Exam ("Baby Bar") on my first attempt, scoring in the highest percentile of the NCBE. The State Bar of CA selected one of my essays to be featured on their website—a recognition that reflects my commitment to legal excellence. My journey into law began when I was sued for a million dollars shortly after opening my first business. This experience taught me firsthand how devastating legal battles can be. I realized my calling was to stand up for others facing their most challenging legal situations. My extensive business experience provides unique insights for both my personal injury and estate planning clients. I built and operated a successful company serving individual clients, celebrities, high-net-worth individuals, and large corporations—experience that taught me how to negotiate effectively and protect valuable assets. In personal injury cases, my background as a licensed insurance agent gives me insider knowledge of how insurance companies operate, allowing me to maximize recoveries. As a certified paralegal, licensed real estate agent, and former property manager, I understand the financial complexities my clients face. In estate planning, this business and real estate background allows me to craft sophisticated strategies to protect assets, minimize tax burdens, and ensure smooth wealth transfer. I help clients create comprehensive plans including trusts, wills, and estates tailored to their circumstances—whether they own businesses, real estate portfolios, or other complex assets. I am committed to staying at the forefront of the law through my involvement with the Consumer Attorneys Association of LA and the LA County Bar Association. As a law professor, I dedicate myself to teaching the next generation.
