Lisa Michael

I am the founding partner of The Law Offices of Lisa Michael & Associates, P.C., a firm based in New York that is committed to representing plaintiffs in all facets of personal injury litigation. I am recognized for my tenacity, compassion, and deep understanding of the law, qualities that have helped me become a trusted advocate for clients during some of the most difficult times in their lives. My practice includes representing victims of motor vehicle accidents, slips and falls, construction site incidents, and other negligence-related cases. Born and raised in Brooklyn, I graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts from St. John’s University in 1999, and went on to earn a Juris Doctor from New York Law School in 2003. While in law school, I served as President of the Domestic Violence Association, supporting victims seeking protection through the courts. I also interned at the Richmond County District Attorney’s Office, where I assisted the Deputy Chief of the Sex Crimes Special Victims Bureau, an experience that significantly enhanced my understanding of victim advocacy. I am deeply involved in the New York legal community. I currently hold the position of President of the Brooklyn Women’s Bar Association and am a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the New York State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the New York County Bar Association. In addition to my legal practice, I serve as the Legal Compliance Officer for CKO Kickboxing, one of the largest fitness franchises in the nation, where I oversee regulatory compliance across numerous locations. Outside of my professional roles, I enjoy traveling and spending quality time with my two daughters, Ariana and Alexa.
