Debra Lynn Rubin

Since being admitted to the NYS Bar more than 25 years ago, Debra L. Rubin has concentrated her practice in the field of family and matrimonial law, handling matters of all levels of complexity. In addition to successfully negotiating and litigating in these areas, she also handles appeals. She is also a member of the New York Association of Collaborative Professionals and has been trained in both mediation and collaborative law. Ms. Rubin has been selected to New York Super Lawyers every year since 2011 and was further honored with a listing in The Ten Leaders of Matrimonial & Divorce Law in Long Island. She was honored by Hofstra Law's Center for Children, Families and the Law as one of the Outstanding Women in the Law in 2016, and has received numerous other professional honors as well. Ms. Rubin prides herself on her negotiating skills and is of the belief that in family/divorce matters, clients are best served by avoiding litigation when possible. However, when that is not possible, she aggressively represents the rights of her clients in Court.
