About
With over twenty years of experience as a licensed attorney in New Jersey, I am dedicated to providing personalized attention, professionalism, and sound advice. I handle all aspects of residential and commercial real estate transactions in New Jersey, from contract negotiation to closing. My experience also includes leasing, landlord-tenant issues, and representing landlords in matters concerning their rights and disputes. I also assist tenants in obtaining security deposits. In addition to real estate, I offer comprehensive support to businesses in areas such as contracts, compliance, workplace investigations, counseling, drafting and revising company policies and procedures, representation in employee disciplinary actions, labor arbitrations, union grievances, student disciplinary actions, and claims of discrimination. I manage Equal Employment Opportunity Commission position statements, New Jersey Division of Civil Rights cases, unemployment claims, and wrongful termination cases. I have also represented school boards in various employment-related matters. I serve as an adjunct professor at Berkeley College, teaching legal and justice studies courses. I earned my Juris Doctorate from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University and my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Seton Hall University. During my law school years, I interned for the late Hon. Bruce A. Gaeta, J.S.C., and secured a clerkship at the Bergen County Superior Court of New Jersey. I also clerked for the late Hon. Sybil R. Moses, A.J.S.C., and the late Hon. Charles J. Walsh, J.S.C. After graduating, I joined the State of New Jersey, Department of Law & Public Safety, Division of Law, as a deputy attorney general, where for over ten years, I primarily handled employment and labor matters on behalf of state agencies. Before starting my own legal practice, I worked in a boutique firm and also worked as corporate counsel for Benjamin Moore & Co. in their labor and employment group.
