Deborah Winston

DEBORAH E. WINSTON, currently residing in Morris Township, New Jersey, was educated RUTGERS LAW SCHOOL-NEWARK, Newark, New Jersey, Received J.D. degree in May 1987 and is a member of the NJ Bar-1987 and NY Bar-1988. Her undergraduate education was at CORNELL UNIVERSITY, School of Arts and Sciences, Ithaca, New York where she eared a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government in May 1983. Ms. Winston is also a NEW JERSEY SUPREME COURT CERTIFIED CIVIL TRIAL ATTORNEY. Her legal experience began as law clerk in the Superior Court of New Jersey for the Honorable Donald E. King. Then she joined the OFFICE OF THE ATTORNEY GENERAL OF NEW JERSEY, Division of Law in September 1988 and left after 10 years in September 1998. As a DEPUTY ATTORNEY GENERAL she was assigned to Tort Litigation Section of the Newark Office representing New Jersey Transit Bus and Rail Operations, Department of Transportation, University of Medicine and Dentistry, New Jersey State Colleges, Correctional Facilities as well as other State owned and/or controlled entities. Responsible for all phases of litigation (Federal and State), including motions, discovery, trials, briefs and appeals and have successfully tried numerous matters to verdict. She also worked in the Professional Board Section, Board of Medical Examiners. After the Attorney General’s Office, Deborah worked in the Law offices of William J. Mcguire, In House Counsel for CGU Insurance. Deborah then opened her own practice in February of 1999 and then in July of 2002, she became a partner in CARY, CHARLES AND WINSTON, LLC., a firm located in South Orange, New Jersey, specializing in Real Estate, Bankruptcy and Family Law. Deborah now a solo practitioner Real Estate and Family Law in Morristown, New Jersey.
