About
I graduated from the Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University in 2001 and have dedicated my career to trial work in South Florida’s local and Federal Courts. From the beginning, I’ve been committed to advocating for justice and protecting individual rights. I started my legal journey at the Broward County Office of the Public Defender, where I gained invaluable experience standing up for the rights of Broward County citizens. This role reinforced my commitment to challenging the power of government and law enforcement agencies to ensure fairness and justice. Naturally, my career evolved into the field of Immigration Law, where individuals often face powerful agencies with vast resources. Over the years, I’ve had the honor of representing clients in more than 100 trials in State and Federal Courts. My practice has also included thousands of cases across various areas, including civil rights, criminal defense, family law, civil law, bankruptcy, immigration, and personal injury. Today, I focus on Immigration Law and Criminal Defense, drawing on my trial experience to deliver justice for my clients. South Florida is where I call home, even though I was born in New Jersey and spent a brief period in South America. Giving back to the community that shaped me is important to me, and I’ve contributed my time and resources to organizations like the Broward County Guardian Ad Litem program, Autism Speaks, Habitat for Humanity, Broward County Legal Aid, and others. I remain active within the legal community as a member of the Florida Bar, BCBA, BCHBA, BACDL, the Trial Lawyers Association, and the Broward County Trial Lawyers Association. Additionally, I am fluent in Spanish.
