Kyle D. Macci

I am a Connecticut criminal defense attorney with nearly two decades of legal experience and over 20 years in law enforcement. Before entering private practice, I served as a police officer with the New Britain Police Department, where I retired after a career that spanned more than two decades. My time in law enforcement gave me a unique perspective on criminal defense. Having spent years building cases, I now use that same knowledge to challenge and dismantle them. My background includes patrol operations, SWAT, drug operations, high-risk warrant services, fugitive apprehension, fatal accident reconstruction, and teaching at the police academy. These experiences help me analyze evidence with a trained eye, identify constitutional violations, and craft defenses that others may not see. I represent clients throughout Connecticut and in Federal District Court in cases involving felonies, misdemeanors, DUI, drug charges, domestic violence, federal crimes, professional license defense—including healthcare and veterinary matters—and concealed pistol permit denials or revocations. I also have served as a lawyer for police departments and I come from a long line of military ancestry. I, myself, have served. US Army.
