Michael Patrick Hines

For nearly 20 years, Michael has passionately and fiercely represented clients with legal needs. His practice areas include Family Law, Divorce, Criminal Defense, DUI, and Traffic Crimes. He has a unique perspective as a former State Prosecutor, Police Detective, and Military Veteran of the United States Navy. Michael is a knowledgeable and skilled negotiator and trial attorney. He is dedicated to using his passion, experience and expertise to obtain the best possible outcomes for his clients. Michael received his B.A. from Saint Leo University, and J.D. from Temple University, James E. Beasley School of Law. He has been practicing law in Florida since 1998. Michael is a member of the Florida Bar Association, Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and St. Augustine Inn of Court. The U.S. Navy has honored Michael with both the Navy Expeditionary Medal and Humanitarian Service Award. Michael is a devoted husband and father. A devout Catholic, he and his wife Margaret have been married for over 25 years and have two sons. Michael has a love of camping and his family has spent many summers camping together. They have also discovered cruising, and enjoy cruising several times each year. Additionally, Michael is passionate about Scuba Diving, CrossFit, Running and Racquetball.
