I have been interested in the law since my childhood experiences required me to attend annual corporate meetings and estate planning sessions with my parents. It was there that I was first introduced to the concepts of estate planning in action. After graduation from St. Mary's School of Law I knew that being from a entrepreneurial family I wanted to start my own practice in the areas of Estate Planning and Probate. I wanted to create legacies and peace of mind and this was the route to take. In my practice I make it a point to pass on legacies through comprehensive, personalized estate planning that passes on more than just financial assets. In estate planning I specialize in wills, many types of trusts including Revocable and Irrevocable, Asset Protection, Charitable, Special Needs, and Spendthrift Trusts, Durable Powers of Attorney, Medical Powers of Attorney, Directives to Physicians and Family, HIPPA Authorizations, Nomination and Declaration of Guardians and Final Disposition documents. Something that I pass along to each client is... "You won't be the one to ultimately benefit from the plan I am going to design for you but the people who will benefit are the people you love the most who will be dealing with things after you're gone or are incapacitated. They will be in a bad place so I help you make it as clear and as trouble free as possible for them. My Probate practice is very active. I represent heirs throughout Texas in many areas including Letters Testamentary, Dependent Administration Probate, Lost Wills, Probate Determination of Heirship , Muniment of Title, Small Estate Affadavit and more. Probate simply defined is the legal process of administering the estate of a deceased person by resolving claims and distributing assets. It can be a long, stressful, and arduous process.
