Isaac Hal Winer

Isaac H. Winer is an experienced business lawyer and civil litigator who has practiced law throughout California since 1992. Mr. Winer’s practice encompasses a broad array of substantive areas, including civil litigation and ADR across a diverse set of subject matters, business formations, funding and governance, business and technology / IP transactions, real property sales and leases, as well as internet and website-related matters. Mr. Winer’s clients have included public and private companies in a variety of industries including software, hardware, life science, internet, telecom and health care. He has also represented start-ups, founders, serial entrepreneurs, joint ventures, executives, employees, professionals, investors and other individuals. All of Mr. Winer’s clients share a common thread – they seek experienced, practical and effective advice in the attentive and cost-efficient manner that Mr. Winer practices law. Prior to opening his own practice in 2000, Mr. Winer was associated with two premier West Coast law firms and then managed the litigation practice of a local business law boutique. There, Mr. Winer also gained significant experience in transactional and corporate matters ranging from business formations, to company acquisitions to intellectual property transactions. Mr. Winer also served as in-house corporate counsel at Cypress Semiconductor, a $5 billion publicly traded company headquartered in Silicon Valley. At Cypress, Mr. Winer served as a business law generalist, handling a wide range of transactional, IP, commercial, corporate and dispute-related matters. Prior to working in Silicon Valley, Mr. Winer served as an associate litigation attorney in two large West Coast law firms based in Los Angeles. As a litigator, Mr. Winer's practice has focused on complex business litigation in a broad array of disputes involving issues of contract, tort, real estate, intellectual property and other areas of law.
