Prior to opening my law practice in Granbury, I graduated with honors (top 10%) from Abilene Christian University with a Bachelors in Business Administration. As a child who grew up with divorced parents I personally know the effects of the separation of the family. I attended Texas A&M School of Law (at the time Texas Wesleyan) and was a member of the Mock Trial team and a member of Moot Court. After graduating from Texas A&M School of Law with honors (top 10%), I began working with the Small Business Administration aiding disaster victims. While with the SBA, I directly assisted Hurricane Katrina victims, oversaw many attorneys, and worked directly with various states to develop programs to aid hurricane victims. I view the practice of law as a calling and not just a business. I am passionate about my work and take great pride in going the extra mile to achieve complete client satisfaction. In my Granbury divorce, family law, and civil litigation practice I have done my very best to make certain that my clients receive the absolute best in representation from in both skill and knowledge. To this end, I have attained becoming board certified in family law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. This is an achievement that only approximately 725 of the over 70,000 attorneys in Texas can boast of and requires an attorney to have achieved a significant level of trust from their peers, demonstrated a high level technical knowledge in the field of family law, and prove that the attorney has the experience in Family Law sufficient to be considered for certification. A board certified attorney is considered an expert in that area of law, which can be a huge advantage in a complex case.
