Corinne has practiced immigration law since 2007, specializing in business, asylum and family matters. She has successfully helped refugees, artists, scientists, researchers, athletes, investors and entrepreneurs from countries all over the world, including Canada, Mexico, Italy, France, the United Kingdom, Russia, the Ukraine, Syria, India, China, Haiti and Japan. Corinne Goria received her B.A. International Conflict and Development Studies from the University of California, Berkeley and her J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. While at Hastings, she participated in Karen Musalo's and Richard Boswell's Immigration Rights Clinic, taking on asylum and appellate work with the Board of Immigration Appeals and, subsequently, the Ninth Circuit. Corinne Goria also holds an MFA in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University and is Editor of "Invisible Hands: Voices from the Global Economy" (Voice of Witness 2014), a collection of oral histories from activists engaged in human rights struggles in industries around the world. She is also Assistant Editor of "Underground America: Narratives of Undocumented Lives" (McSweeney's 2008), a collection of oral histories from undocumented immigrants in the United States. Corinne Goria was admitted to the California State Bar in January 2007. She is a member of the California State Bar and the San Diego County Bar Association.
