About
Amy Muth and her firm represents individuals charged with serious crimes throughout Washington state and federal courts. She is a Past President of the Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, past recipient of the Washington Defender Association's President's Award and has been recognized for many years as a Super Lawyer by Washington Law & Politics. Amy is actively involved in legislative reform for people accused of sex offenses. She writes articles and amicus briefs for WACDL and WDA on sex crime issues. She has lectured to lawyers throughout Washington on how to try these challenging cases and was a featured speaker at the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers sex offenses CLE program. Amy also serves on the Legal Committee for ACLU-WA and writes amicus briefs on behalf of ACLU-WA on juvenile sexual offending issues. She has practiced law in Washington State since 2001, following graduation from Ohio State University College of Law. She graduated summa cum laude from Ohio Wesleyan University in 1997. She is admitted to practice law in the State of Washington, the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
