About
Alexander advises clients on corporate transactions, alternative investments, and Blockchain/Distributed Ledger Technology matters. He has helped companies raise capital through traditional and nontraditional vehicles and advises clients on a variety of business arrangements. He has experience guiding investors, entrepreneurs, and startups through different stages of corporate growth, including serving as outside general counsel for several companies. In addition to his corporate practice, Alexander is the founder of Connect Attorneys PLLC, a Miami-based firm focused on personal injury and civil litigation matters. Through this practice, he leverages his litigation experience and strong ties to the Miami community to assist clients with personal injury claims, including car accidents, slip and falls, and other negligence-related matters, and connects clients with high-quality legal representation across related practice areas. Prior to practicing law, over the span of 10 years, Alexander successfully founded and operated several businesses in the legal-technology, human resources/outsourcing, and entertainment industries. He earned a Master's degree in Finance from Harvard University, where he served as Vice President of the Harvard Graduate Council and Senior Editor of the Harvard Journal on Hispanic Policy. He was also a Research Assistant at Harvard's Davis Center for Eurasian Studies. He holds a dual J.D. and M.B.A. from St. Thomas University, during which he served as a Director for the Dade County Bar Association and received a Pro-Bono Commendation for over 100 hours of pro bono service. He is the Immediate Past President of the Massachusetts Association of Hispanic Attorneys (MAHA), under whose leadership the organization held its largest fundraiser to date, in collaboration with the musical Hamilton, benefiting families affected by Hurricane Maria. He also served as HNBA Region 1 Deputy President in 2018. He is licensed to practice law in FL & MA.
