Francine D. Ward

I graduated from Georgetown University Law Center in 1989 and have been practicing law since January 14, 1991. I am an intellectual property and estate planning attorney, admitted to practice in California, New York, and the District of Columbia. My approach is centered on helping clients address their legal challenges while keeping their goals at the forefront. In my intellectual property practice, I focus on assisting clients in protecting their creative works through copyright protection, safeguarding their distinctive designs, logos, words, phrases, and other identifiers with trademark protection, and securing their books and other licensed works through well-negotiated publishing and licensing agreements. In my estate planning practice, I work with clients to protect their assets by drafting and reviewing trusts, wills, healthcare directives, powers of attorney, and other essential documents with care and precision. I am committed to ensuring my clients fully understand the legal documents they sign. I take the time to educate them and make sure they are confident in their decisions before moving forward.
