EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: I am the founding attorney and President of Latour Esquire, P.A. and I have been helping others for over 13 years as an attorney, including my time at another well-established law firm in Fort Lauderdale. I have litigated cases from the 'womb to the tomb', and enjoy fighting for justice and my client's rights! I have a Juris Doctorate from FIU's College of Law. I made the Dean’s List several times while there. The Florida Supreme Court certified me to represent clients in court while I participated in the school’s clinical program. There, I counseled clients regarding green cards/LPR and prepared the required immigration forms. I represented unaccompanied immigrant children in state court in obtaining dependency orders in order to apply for special immigrant juvenile status. Prior to law school, I obtained my Bachelor of Arts degree in Pre-Law Studies from the City College of New York, where I received special recognition for my academic achievement. BACKGROUND. I was born and raised in the Caribbean, on the beautiful (now volcano-ravaged) island of Montserrat. I am an immigrant, which underlies my passion for helping to bring families together in the U.S. and for helping American businesses to hire the best from around the world. Of greatest importance to me, I am a Christian. Jesus is my Lord and Savior, and I encourage others to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior too. I aim to live out God’s calling on my life by working diligently to help others, all to God’s glory. I worship and fellowship at Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale.
