I graduated with honors from the University of Georgia in 1973 and earned my law degree from the UGA School of Law in 1976. June 10, 2026 marks starting my 51st year as a GA attorney. In 1991, I co-authored a national DUI-DWI book that sold 14,000 copies, making it the best-selling DUI book in history. Over the course of five decades, I have handled more than 6,500 impaired driving cases, most involving first offense DUI charges. I co-author a comprehensive 1,400-page legal book on Georgia DUI laws, which is updated annually alongside my partners Larry Kohn and Cory Yager.
