Russell Andrews Kerr

In 2007, I founded the Kerr Law Group, focusing on Business and Real Estate Transactions, Civil Litigation, and Immigration Law. I have broad experience in real estate and business matters, handling a variety of transactions ranging from residential and commercial real estate deals to small business issues and complex mergers and acquisitions. I am also dedicated to helping clients navigate the evolving and intricate field of Immigration Law by providing practical solutions. I began my legal career at a well-respected insurance defense firm in Rockville, Maryland, a suburb of the Washington, D.C. Metro Area. There, I worked on auto negligence and workers’ compensation cases and prosecuted damage claims involving underground facilities for a major Mid-Atlantic utility. After relocating to Florida, I expanded my practice to include corporate, real estate, and commercial litigation. While practicing law in South Florida, I contributed significantly to the development of a 25 MW biomass facility in the Greater Toronto Area, which became operational in June 2015. I continue to serve on the Board of Directors for Index Energy. I earned my Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore School of Law. I am admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Florida, the Maryland Court of Appeals, and the District of Columbia Court of Appeals. Additionally, I am authorized to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
