Koryn Sheppard

I am Koryn Sheppard, a State BAR CERTIFIED Family Law attorney based in San Diego. To achieve this certification, attorneys like myself must meet stringent experience and continuing education requirements, pass a formal examination, and provide professional references. Additionally, we are required to consistently participate in family law continuing education classes. Since 2009, I have been practicing family law, guiding families through the complexities of the legal system. My practice areas include divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, property division, and mediation. I have a significant amount of experience in handling military divorce matters and am often appointed by the court as a minor's counsel and qualified as a discovery referee. Beyond my practice, I am deeply involved in the legal community. I have served on the Family Law Bar Association Board and held officer positions on the Foothills Bar Board. I am also active as a Mandatory Continuing Legal Education presenter, volunteer for the Lawyer’s Club and pro bono services in San Diego, serve as an Adjunct Professor at Thomas Jefferson School of Law, and teach yoga on a weekly basis.
