Jolianne S. Alexander

Jolianne S. Alexander focuses her legal practice on employment law, offering a distinctive perspective shaped by her extensive background as in-house counsel and her work representing both employees and employers. Her experience includes handling a broad range of complex cases under the Illinois Human Rights Act, Title VII, and various employment-related statutes. Throughout her career, Ms. Alexander has drafted and argued numerous dispositive motions and has independently conducted both jury and bench trials before the Illinois Human Rights Commission and in state court. She has also contributed to trial efforts at the federal level. Her appellate work includes a successful argument before the Second District Appellate Court of Illinois and the Illinois Supreme Court on a novel legal question involving disability discrimination and harassment under the Illinois Human Rights Act. She is an active member of the DuPage County Bar Association and serves on the DCBA Editorial Board. Ms. Alexander earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2009. She received her Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2013. She is licensed to practice in Illinois and before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
