I’m Joseph Kaiser, an attorney in Charleston dedicated to helping individuals navigate some of the most stressful moments in their lives. As a lifelong resident of the Lowcountry, I’ve built my practice on the belief that clients deserve honesty, clarity, and a lawyer who stands beside them through every stage of the legal process. My practice focuses on defending individuals facing criminal charges, with particular attention to DUI cases, drug offenses, traffic violations, assault charges, and other misdemeanors and felonies in the Charleston area. I also assist clients with record expungements and professional license issues that may arise from an arrest. Whether a case is minor or life-changing, my goal is to protect my clients’ rights and guide them toward the best possible resolution. Before starting my own firm, I served as a prosecutor with the City of North Charleston for several years. During that time, I handled a wide range of criminal matters, from traffic offenses to complex DUI cases. This experience gave me insight into how cases are investigated, charged, and negotiated—knowledge I now use to defend the rights of the people I represent. Since founding Joseph Kaiser, Attorney at Law, LLC, I’ve focused on providing straightforward guidance and practical legal solutions.
