Jordan S. Dizik

Jordan S. Dizik is the Founding Partner for Family Law at Dizik | Kaplan in Birmingham, Michigan. He represents clients throughout Oakland County in divorce, high-net-worth asset division, child custody, spousal support, and complex property division matters at both the trial court and appellate level. Jordan began his career at one of Michigan's most respected boutique family law firms before moving to one of the state's largest firms, where he continued to build his practice. In 2018, he founded The Dizik Law Firm, which evolved into the partnership Dizik | Kaplan. A significant portion of Jordan's practice involves high-asset divorces for executives, physicians, professional athletes, and other prominent members of the Southeast Michigan community. These matters frequently require forensic accounting, business valuation, and the careful handling of complex compensation structures including stock options, restricted stock units, and deferred compensation. Jordan is regularly called upon by fellow attorneys to represent them and their own clients during difficult family law matters. He holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and a B.S. in Psychology from Eastern Michigan University.
