Debbie Yeh Joe

Debbie Joe is a Founding Partner of Joe, Southard & Yeoh LLP with over 15 years of legal experience. She works tirelessly balancing an empathetic ear and an aggressive case handling approach on behalf of injured workers. She is well regarded in the legal community for her detailed case analysis and effective advocacy skills, which she uses to achieve favorable results time and time again for her clients. A native of Southern California, Ms. Joe earned her B.A. degree in Communication Studies from University of California at Los Angeles in 1998 with high academic distinction. She earned her law degree in 2001 from Loyola Law School with honors. She was twice awarded the First Honors Award, a prestigious honor only bestowed upon an individual who earns the highest grade in the class. Thereafter, she was chosen to serve in the highly distinguished position of judicial law clerk to two United States federal district court judges, The Honorable Florence-Marie Cooper and The Honorable Robert J. Kelleher. Ms. Joe has been consistently recognized by the American Institute of Legal Counsel as one of the 10 Best Workers’ Compensation Attorneys for Client Satisfaction in 2016 and 2017. She is an active member of the California State Bar and Los Angeles County Bar Association. She is well respected for her legal acumen and extensive experience having worked both in the private and public legal sector. Ms. Joe is licensed to practice law in California and before the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
