About
Cameron Jehl is a civil litigator specializing in nursing home abuse, personal injury, medical malpractice, and elder law. Known for his attentive listening and empathy, Mr. Jehl is a reliable advocate for clients facing challenging situations. He began his legal career representing Fortune 500 companies like Wal-Mart and John Deere, achieving success in both jury and bench trials. Mr. Jehl later joined Wilkes & McHugh, P.A., expanding its Tennessee office from a solo practice to a multi-attorney firm over 13 years. In 2013, Mr. Jehl founded Jehl Law Group, PLLC, continuing his work to protect victims of medical neglect and abuse. He has obtained over $500 million in judgments and settlements, including a $30 million award against a major nursing home corporation, highlighted in The New York Times. A Memphis native, Mr. Jehl’s interest in law was sparked during college in London and shaped by observing his father’s struggles as a small business owner. He holds a B.S. from the University of Mississippi and a J.D. from the University of Memphis, where he helped found the Tennessee Journal of Practice and Procedure. Licensed in Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee, Mr. Jehl is admitted to federal district courts in Tennessee and Mississippi. He is active in several bar associations and served as President of the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association in 2018-19.
