George S. Benjamin

I am an associate in the Firm’s Labor and Employment Department, where I represent employers in all aspects of employment litigation and provide guidance on workplace matters. My practice includes handling wage-and-hour class and representative actions, including PAGA cases, as well as single-plaintiff employment disputes in state and federal courts and arbitration. I handle every stage of litigation, from developing strategies to managing discovery, depositions, motion practice, settlement discussions, and preparing for trials and hearings. My experience includes navigating complex cases involving large, multistate workforces and addressing claims with significant exposure. Beyond litigation, I advise employers across various industries on employee relations and compliance issues. This includes assisting with discipline and termination decisions, accommodations and leaves of absence, wage-and-hour compliance, workplace investigations, and drafting employment policies and handbooks. I am known for my strategic approach, responsiveness, and ability to advocate for my clients through practical, creative, and efficient solutions. Having lived in Singapore for over a decade, I bring an international perspective to my practice and have particular experience working with healthcare organizations and companies connected to Southeast Asia. Before joining the Firm, I spent more than a decade practicing labor and employment law at international law firms in Los Angeles. I also completed an in-house secondment with a global technology company, where I supported corporate counsel on employment litigation and employee relations matters. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and exploring my passion for music.
