About
Laura Lynn Davidson is a Partner at Jacoby & Meyers and an experienced trial lawyer who holds large corporations and insurance companies accountable for their wrongdoing, and is committed to seeing that justice prevails. Her practice focuses on catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, slip and fall and motor carrier liability cases. As both a mother and a trial lawyer, Laura has extensive experience working with younger clients and their parents and obtaining significant verdicts and settlements on their behalf. She obtained a $3.75 million dollar settlement on behalf of a five-year-old girl who suffered a traumatic brain injury when the swing she was playing on at school broke, and a seven figure settlement on behalf of a 16-year-old who participated in a cliff jumping activity at church camp and came home with two broken vertebrae. Prior to joining Jacoby & Meyers, Laura was a senior associate at a boutique Los Angeles based law firm, where she handled complex business and tax litigation and transactions. Laura is a graduate of the Trojan Horse Trial Workshop, and the Anti-Defamation League’s Glass Leadership Institute. Outside of the practice of law, you will find Laura engaged in helping others through a variety of community activities. She volunteers at her children’s schools, is a member of Alpha Phi Fraternity’s NPC Delegation, is a UCLA Student Mentor and is involved in Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA), Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC) as well as the UCLA Alumni Association. Laura received a BA in Geography & Environmental Studies from UCLA and a JD from the University of Southern California Law Center, where she was Chief Production Editor of the Southern California Review of Law and Women’s Studies. She is admitted to practice in California and before the following Courts: The United States District Courts for the Central, Northern and Eastern Districts of California; the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
