Hardeep Shergill

Hardeep Shergill joined the Jacob D.Fuchsberg Law Firm in 2023 as an associate attorney, primarily focusing on civil rights and medical malpractice. Before joining the Jacob Fuchsberg LawFirm, Hardeep was with the Legal Aid Society’s Juvenile Rights Practice for five years, representing children involved in abuse and neglect proceedings. At the Legal Aid Society, Hardeep specialized in cases involving theAdministration for Children’s Services (ACS) and primarily assisted underrepresented children from Black and Brown families who often faced barriers to receiving legal representation. She received her B.A. from Baruch College,CUNY. Hardeep received her J.D. from CUNY School of Law in 2017 with a partial scholarship. At CUNY School of Law, Hardeep had the opportunity to specialize in public interest, allowing her to represent historically underrepresented populations. At the Jacob Fuchsberg Law Firm, Hardeep will help expand our groundbreaking sexual assault practice area and brings valuable insight to these complex and impactful cases. Hardeep proudly completed law school with two young children, giving birth to her youngest while in the middle of school.Outside of the office, Hardeep enjoys spending time with her two children, running, traveling, and reading. Hardeep is originally from India and is fluent in Punjabi, but she also understands Hindi and Urdu.
