Matthew Ryan Ludowig

Matthew R. Ludowig is an accomplished healthcare attorney with over a decade of experience representing a wide range of clients in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. He began his legal career in 2012 as a civilian prosecutor, trying more than 40 cases to verdict. In 2018, while serving as a prosecutor, Mr. Ludowig was commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Air Force Judge Advocate General’s Corps, where he has spent over seven years advising commanders on complex legal and operational matters. His military experience reinforced his commitment to providing clear, strategic counsel aligned with clients’ goals. Mr. Ludowig transitioned to private practice in 2020, serving as General Counsel for Empower Pharmacy, where he led legal, compliance, and regulatory initiatives that supported substantial company growth. He later became a Partner at Hanszen Laporte, LLP, advising healthcare providers, MSOs, pharmacies, and distributors on regulatory and compliance issues. Currently, Mr. Ludowig is the Founder of Innova Health Law, a firm dedicated to guiding clients through the evolving legal landscape of the compounded pharmaceutical market and healthcare law. He earned his B.A. from the University of Mississippi and his J.D. from South Texas College of Law.
