Brandon Derry

Attorney Brandon D. Derry joined Hupy and Abraham in 2007 and became a shareholder in 2012 in recognition of his dedication and contributions in the Madison office. He is licensed to practice in Wisconsin, Iowa, and Minnesota and has been a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin since 2005. He remains actively involved in the American Bar Association, Dane County Bar Association, and Hennepin County Bar Association. Attorney Derry is active in his community, supporting local charities and participating in benefit motorcycle rides and events across Wisconsin, Iowa, and Minnesota. An avid Harley-Davidson rider, he often rides with his father. He was named Best Lawyer by the Madison.com People’s Choice Awards for 2024–2025 and holds a 10.0 Superb Rating from AVVO. He has also been recognized as a Top 100 Trial Lawyer: Civil Plaintiff by the National Trial Lawyers since 2014. Attorney Derry has obtained more than $100 million in recoveries for his clients, including significant settlements of $7.5 million and $2.5 million. He has also won numerous jury verdicts throughout Wisconsin.
