Jeanne M. Huey

I have been an advocate for over 25 years, representing a wide range of businesses and individuals in both state and federal courts. My career began at a well-regarded regional law firm, where I worked with clients that included multinational corporations and small local businesses. Over time, I shifted my focus to helping individuals navigate the complexities of divorce and its aftermath. My current practice centers on legal ethics, professional responsibility, and business litigation. I work with lawyers facing disciplinary matters and provide guidance to law firms and attorneys on issues related to professional responsibility and disciplinary matters. Throughout my career, I have been committed to delivering client-focused service and maintaining high standards in both business litigation and legal ethics. I am also the author of *Legal Ethics Today* (www.legalethicstoday.com), a blog where I explore topics such as legal ethics, technology, and the evolving role of AI in the legal field. In addition, I frequently speak at CLE programs on ethics and professionalism, presenting to audiences across Texas and at the national level. Currently, I serve as Co-Chair of the ABA Section of Litigation’s Ethics and Professionalism Committee. I am also a past chair of the Dallas Bar Association Ethics Committee and the Solo and Small Firm Section. My service includes time on the State Bar of Texas District 6 Grievance Committee, where I held roles as both a Panel Chair and the District Chair.
